Hi all
Its a pleasure to announce to you all an upcoming Fun Fly in Canberra in September. Most of you should remember last years funfly in February in which Curtis Youngblood attended and beautifully crashed the only JR Vibe 90SG into our soil. Well this is the same super cool event. In September we should have a superbly LUSH green field for you maniacs to go "LAWN MOWER STYLES", we can assure you it won't be the dust bowl it was at the end of Summer. This date will most likely become our regular annual funfly date.
It will be held on the last weekend of that Month - so that is Saturday and Sunday 25-26 Sept 2010.
The poster describes most of the general details, here's the tidbits of info:
- MAAA membership is mandatory.
- No Transmitter pound for 2.4GHz
- Transmitter pound for 36MHz
- $20 Entry Fee for the entire weekend.
- BBQ and Cold drinks available on the days
- Potential return of MC Timmy
- Drag Racing competition (3 divisions of heli size)
- Autorotation competition (possibly onto a table if you're game)
Accommodation - Nothing special has been arranged, nearest hotels are at Narrabundah, about a 20 minute drive to the field. Try
